3 Surprising Things You Can Do In 10 Minutes

Ten minutes doesn’t sound like very much time. It usually falls into the category of either “I only have 10 minutes”, or “I have 10 minutes to kill.” If you were to look at 10 minutes from a different vantage point, you’d be surprised at how much you can accomplish. Let’s focus on 3 surprising things that you can accomplish in 10 minutes.

1. Watch a TED talk online

There are several TED talks that you can watch to gain valuable insights into any topic that interests you or that you’d like to learn more about. TED talks not only entertain, but generally contain some great information. Any time you have a “spare” 10 minutes, a TED talk can keep you up to date and ready to win the best conversationalist award at your next party.

2. Learn a new language

Learning a foreign language sounds pretty daunting, but if you take the time, you’ll be speaking your chosen language in no time! There are multiple apps you can download that will take you through 10 minute a day lessons to have you speaking well enough for that trip you have planned. Some apps are 10 minutes a day for a year, which is a pretty big commitment, but if you have the time, why not learn?

When you finally do get to go on that trip, your fellow travelers will be happy to have someone along that can help with the local language.

3. Do a load of laundry is a surprising thing you can do in 10-minutes

Hold on there, how can you do a load of laundry in 10 minutes? Wouldn’t it be great to put a load in the washer and know that in 10 minutes, you will have a clean batch of laundry for the dryer? That is so much faster and more efficient than what your current washer will do.

During that 10-minute washing cycle, go ahead and watch that TED talk. Your laundry is being washed and you are still getting to do what you want with that 10 minutes.

Listen to your language app and prepare for your trip, all while washing some clothes. 10 minutes a day will also save you quite a bit of money on utility bills since the washer doesn’t have to go through as much electricity and water. These savings can actually help with planning your vacation as well. Maybe you can upgrade from basic coach, or stay in a bungalow over the water. This is all a reality with the Lightning Clean machine.
